New Delhi: AKTU Lucknow is to come up with a scholarship scheme for the M.Tech and PhD students of Government and private colleges affiliated to the university.
The announcement was made by the AKTU Vice Chancellor Professor P K Mishra during a meeting held on hybrid mode on January 17, 2022.
The decision was taken in presence of the directors of all the state and constituent institutions during the meet. During the meet, Professor Sandeep Tiwari and Professor S P Shukla were present physically while the others attended it online.

The primary aim of the meeting was to discuss the issues and problems creating obstacles in the progress of the affiliated educational institutions.

During the meeting, the VC has discussed that the university will soon develop a common online platform for the state constituent institutions and the emphasis will be on the entrepreneurship development programmes.
“Work will be done in all the institutions in a planned manner to develop an eco-system for entrepreneurship development”, Professor Mishra added.
Professor Mishra has further stated that there will be initiatives for agro-incubation to promote rural and agricultural entrepreneurship in the state.
While discussing the possible scholarship scheme, Dr. Mishra also talked about the soon to be developed Personality Development programmes. According to him, these programmes will provide the students with an opportunity to grow and nurture their soft skills and personality.
The internal relationship between the professional industries and the institute will also be improved for the knowledge upgradation of both the students and the faculty. A review meeting is to be held every month to assess the progress of the course.
