New Delhi: AIMA has launched a six-month-long program in the administration and management domain for promoters and managers of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
With the launch of its management program, AIMA aspires to offer special-purpose administration skills to participants and help them achieve their goals in their respective fields. The program aims to align the competence of MSMEs leaders with the new economic system.
The six-month-long management program of AIMA was launched on Friday, January 21, 2022, during the AIMA’s 11th MSME Convention. The launch event was held online due to the ongoing covid-19 pandemic situation in the country.
Addressing the AIMA’s 11th MSME Convention, AIMA President C Okay Ranganathan expressed his gratitude towards the Center’s assistance in the MSME sector through the COVID-19 disaster.
He further added that the Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme, which was launched to help micro, small and medium enterprises has saved up to 13.5 corporations from going bankrupt so far.
The scheme has saved 1.5 crore jobs and is constantly helping the federal government in rebuilding the Indian economic system. The scheme has come out as a ray of hope for many companies and enterprises who found business management challenging during the time of the covid-19 pandemic, he stated.
While talking about the effects of pandemics on the Indian economy, AIMA MSME Committee Chairman J S Juneja stated that mostly micro-enterprises, who handle small enterprises and businesses have been affected majorly by the ongoing pandemic situation.
Due to the financial disruption through the pandemic, micro-businesses are seeking help from the government. As of now, almost 35% of MSMEs in India are close to going bankrupt and losing their source of income entirely.
MSMEs have been dealing with closure, primarily the micro-enterprises, as a result of they lacked strains of credit score from banks and lacked linkages to giant firms, he added.
After reviewing the situation of Indian MSMEs, the All India Management Association will help the micro-enterprises in developing their business and introducing the same in the new business world through its Management Course.
