AIIMS Jodhpur Launches Executive Program in Public Health Policy, Leadership, Management; Check Details

 New Delhi: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Jodhpur has invited applications for admission to the executive programme in Public Health Policy, Leadership & Management for January 2022 academic session. Interested candidates can apply for the programme on or before .

AIIMS in Jodhpur has issued a call for applications for its unique Blended Learning programme.

The official tweet from AIIMS Jodhpur reads, "The "Executive Program in Public Health Policy, Leadership, and Management July 2022 session" is now accepting applications. The one-of-a-kind curriculum, which is based on Blended Learning and offered by approximately 30 professionals, gives you an advantage in healthcare administration. The deadline for submissions is June 10th."

Policy, Leadership, and Management in Public Health is an executive programme in public health policy, leadership, and management. The July 2022 session is a six-month training programme aimed at mid-career and senior-level working professionals who wish to improve their leadership and management skills while remaining in their current position.

The 6-month Executive Programme in Public Health Policy, Leadership & Management, is designed for mid-career and senior level (more than 5 years of work experience) working professionals who aspire to augment their leadership and management skills while still within their workplace, the official notice said.

AIIMS Jodhpur offers 15 seats for Indian nationals (Medical: 8, Non-Medical: 7) and 5 seats are reserved for foreign candidates, whose application has to be routed through the ministry of external affairs. In case of non-availability of suitable candidates in one category, seats may be filled from another category, the notice read.

Candidates fulfilling the following criteria are eligible to apply for the course.

• Aspiring candidates must have a Medical: MBBS/BDS/ AYUSH (Alternative System of Medicine in India)
•  Non-Medical: Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Veterinary Sciences, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Engineering [latest qualification] from any recognized university. 
• Candidates pursuing their final year exams / waiting for their results are also eligible to apply. However, they must have maintained minimum of 55% marks [average marks in %] marks. 
• Minimum 5 years of work experience preferably experience of working in health care settings. 
• Should have no-objection certificate (NOC) from the employer/sponsoring organization.

Candidates who are applying for (AIIMS) Jodhpur for admission to the executive programme in Public Health Policy, Leadership & Management for January 2022 academic session. Interested candidates can apply for the programme by:

Step 1: The application form can be downloaded from aiimsjodhpur.edu.in

Step 2: The completed application along with annexures should be sent on executive.sph.aiimsj@gmail.com latest by November 30, 2021, 5PM.

The programme provides in-service candidates with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to finish the course by attending two weeks of contact sessions and 22 weeks of supervised online interactive sessions.

 The contact classes will be placed on the AIIMS Jodhpur campus. At the beginning and end of the course, these weeklong contact classes will be organised. Lectures, tutorials, presentations, guided reading, seminars, eldwork, and a research project will be used to provide the course.

 Working professionals sponsored by state and federal agencies, as well as individuals working in private organisations from a variety of sectors, including health and social services, community groups, education, clinical research, medicine, and pharmaceutical industries, are eligible to apply.
