New Delhi: AICTE revised academic calendar 2022-23 has been approved by the Supreme Court. The academic calendar is for admission to engineering as well as other courses.
AICTE has accurately pointed out that considering the disastrous impact of the third wave of COVID 19, the earlier academic schedule could not be applied.
The bench consisted of Justices L Nageswara Rao and BR Gavai.
“There has been a delay in processing applications, hearing appeals and in making admissions in the last 2 years in view of the pandemic. Periodically, at the request of AICTE last dates according to the schedule fixed by this Court has been extended even for 2021-2022,”, as reported by the authority.
