The central aim of the joint LLM program is to train a new style of international criminal lawyers by offering a broad and deep understanding of relevant issues and supporting the development of academic skills through the analyzing of such issues.
The International Criminal Law program combines the study of theoretical aspects and foundations of International Criminal Law with its practical application, by offering a workshop in criminal tribunals and providing opportunities to engage in internships.
Amsterdam Law School students and Columbia Law School students complete the programme as a group, spending the first semester at the Amsterdam Law School and the second at Columbia Law School.
The programme consists of both compulsory and elective courses.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students should have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized research university;
Students should have at least 3.0-grade points.
Submission of GMAT / GRE scores report.

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

Graduates of Indian central, state, or leading deemed and private universities.
Applicants must have achieved a minimum cumulative 1st division or better across all years of their studies.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, tests required to study in Netherlands, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
