Top Medical Colleges in India Accepting INI CET: Admission Process

Medical colleges offer admission through NEET/ NEET-PG/ INI CET scores. There are only 17 Medical colleges that accept INI CET scores, amongst them around 15 are government and 2 are private colleges. For admissions, candidates are shortlisted based on their scores obtained in the INI CET scores. Qualified candidates need to participate in the counseling process. Thereafter they are called for document verification and may face personal interviews. The January 2024 session registration will begin in September and the last date will be tentatively in October 2023. INI CET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

In order to qualify for participation in INI CET 2024 and also be considered for admission to PG medical programs offered by various AIIMS campuses and other institutions, applicants must meet certain basic eligibility criteria. Below are the main requirements for eligibility to apply for the INI CET 2024 exam:

• Candidates must hold an MBBS, BDS, or equivalent degree from a reputable institution, as determined by MCI or DCI.
• The applicant must complete an internship lasting a whole year.
• Candidates from the unreserved or general categories must earn 55% of the combined total marks in their degree course, while those from the reserved categories, such as (SC) Schedule Cast or (ST) Schedule Tribe, must get 50% of the combined total marks in their bachelor's degree courses.

Candidates whose internship is completed after 31st January 2024 are not eligible for registration for INI CET 2024.
