In the geotechnical engineering and mining diploma course, highly qualified graduated engineers are trained who deal with all aspects related to this. The course is divided into a basic and a main course. In addition to the general scientific basics that every engineer must master (mathematics, physics, chemistry, electrical engineering, materials science, mechanics, thermodynamics, etc.), the basic course also teaches special basics such as geology or mining law.
In the main course, students can choose one of four specializations. The demand for our geotechnics and mining engineers is correspondingly high and the possible uses are very diverse.

The required application documents are:

Certified copy of the university entrance qualification (school certificate) and certified translation, if necessary (see "Certified translation").
Certified copy of proof of existing German language skills (at least 150 lessons or German level A1).
If students do not have to take the DSH exam if they can show one of the following certificates:
- "Deutsches Sprachdiplom" of the Kultusministerkonferenz - level II (DSD II).
- Passed the "Zentrale Oberstufenprüfung" (ZOP) of the Goethe-Institut.
- "Kleines Deutsches Sprachdiplom" or "Großes Deutsches Sprachdiplom".
- Test "German as a foreign language" (Test DaF), level 4 in all areas.
- Passed German part of the assessment test.
- telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule.
