Master of Science [M.S] (Technical and Applied Biology)
Field of Study:
The aim of the master's program is to introduce graduates to the analysis and use of biological systems at different hierarchical levels using the example of selected research topics and thus to prepare them for a corresponding research activity or a further academic qualification. The program consequently continues the basic bachelor’s course, which already enables a focus on industrial biology and environmental biology.

Tuition Fees
City University of Applied Sciences does not demand a typical tuition fee. Students have to pay 555 USD per semester as Semester contribution.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
- university degree (overall grade 2.5 or ECTS grades A + to C +) from the fields of biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, ecology or a related course with a biological focus
- 210 ECTS
- applicants with a university degree and 180 ECTS become the winter semester accepted and acquire the missing 30 ECTS in one project semester
- the passed DSH exam (German language exam for university admission of foreign applicants) at level DSH-2 or DSH-3
