Master of Science [M.S] (Mechatronics)
Tuition Fees
The Master of Science program in Mechatronics is an interdisciplinary 4 semester (i.e. 2 year) study program intended forstudents with a qualified Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or related fields. It is a joint effort by the departments of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics (FB 8), Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (FB5) and Aerospace Engineering (FB6) and provides a broad industrially oriented technical knowledge in mechatronic principles, components and system design.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Entrance Requirements:
- Bachelor, Dipl.-Ing. or equivalent degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or in a related field from a recognized university. The Bachelor degree has to certify the completion of an at least 3 years study program. Applicants must demonstrate a solid basis in mathematics and physics.
- Students can apply with provisional papers if students have not yet completed their Bachelor's degree. All academic transcripts showing all years of university study must be uploaded to the online application portal. However, be aware that students must have completed the Bachelor's degree at the time of enrollment.
- Proof of knowledge of German language ("Zertifikat Deutsch" (Level B1) or equivalent German language certificate must be uploaded to the online application portal).
