The Ilmenau University of Technology does not demand a typical tuition fee. Students have to pay 120 USD in the first semester of the Master's course, in the following semesters the contribution fee is103 USD.

The degree combines - in comparison to other universities in a unique way - an interdisciplinary degree in economics with a part of the course in which media-specific content is addressed from an economic, technical and social science perspective.
