Babatunde Animashaun Review at IU, International University Of Applied Sciences [IU], Bad Honnef | Collegedunia

MY JOURNEY TO SUCCESS AT IU, INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCE

The effect of COVID-19 on the traditional campus-based University influences my need to look for an innovative higher educational environment that offers flexible study patterns (On-campus and Online studies). Through a search on the internet, I was opportune to come across IU and I read about them, which at first it was too good to be true, I really didn't believe it at first, but then I was allowed to chat with one of their consultants who then later assured me that all that I saw or read about their study pattern is true. I was so amazed and I immediately enrolled with them and I was even allowed to pick a date on which I would like to start my studies and the study pace I would like to study, which is an amazing move by them.

Course Curriculum :

For my department, each course is assigned with a 5 credit while a few have 10 credit Unit, which is really amazing, and the study materials being provided by the University is really amazing. Each student is provided with enormous study materials which would allow them to pass their courses with a better grades. The professors are top-notch with practical experience in their respective fields which is also a good move by the University so as to ensure that the students also get real-life value experience in their chosen programs.

Placement :

Aside from exposing their students to real-life practical experience which has been incorporated into their theoretical teachings, IU also partners with a lot of companies and organizations in Germany and all over the world. A job search website was created by IU partnered with some of the big multinational companies and is available to all IU students exclusively to apply for any job of their choice, either for those seeking an internship, part-time job or full-time placement. This is another move by the University that set them higher than all other educational institutions.

Fees :

Me, I will say the Tuition fee at UI is really affordable, as students are given fantastic scholarship opportunities relevant to the programs of their choice. The tuition fee for Online students varies between £2500 to £4000 for a complete Bachelor Program.

Scholarship :

This was one of the significant factors that made me decide to enrol at UI upon submitting all the necessary admission requirements. I was offered a whopping 75% scholarship which came as a shock to me until the contract was issued and I was told the amount I needed to pay, and I was also offered to pay the remaining 25% on a monthly basis, which is also a fantastic move by the University.

Faculty :

For my department, each course is assigned with a 5 credit while a few have 10 credit Unit, which is really amazing, and the study materials being provided by the University is really amazing. Each student is provided with enormous study materials which would allow them to pass their courses with a better grades. The professors are top-notch with practical experience in their respective fields, which is also a good move by the University to ensure that the students get real-life value experience in their chosen programs.

Campus Life :

While I am not a campus-based student, I am allowed to enjoy all the privileges that a traditional campus-based student enjoys, I have access to the Library, and I have access to all the instructors as well as all the departments at the University. there is no difference between campus-based and online students. the difference is that some go to campus to receive the lectures while some of us want to do it from home and we still have access to all the University infrastructure. Well, I was told the University has one of the best coffee and restaurant in Bad Honnef. hope to try it soon.

Hostel :

I am a distance learning student, but I was told and assured that I could always transfer to campus base study should I want that. I was assured that there is a dormitory resident provided by the University, which is also student-oriented and affordable for all.
