CBSE Class 10 Registration 2023, Important Dates, Application Fee, Procedure & Latest Updates

CBSE class 10 registration 2023 is likely to be started in the first week of October, 2022. Candidates who are appearing with regular candidature are required to fill and submit the duly filled application form in their respective school. Candidates appearing privately are required to apply online. The board has released the form for private candidates on Sep 16, 2022. The registration form for CBSE class 10 exams will be available on the official website cbse.gov.in

  • Candidates shall fill all the details carefully as the same information will be mentioned in class 10 admit card
  • All the students are required to submit an application fee of 1200.00 INR.

CBSE Class 10 Registration Details

Students need to fill out the class 10 registration form to be able to appear for CBSE class 10 board exams successfully. Class 10 registration begins from the month of October each year. However, there are certain changes that have been implemented by CBSE. CBSE registration fees have been increased by CBSE for classes 10th and 12th

The fee details are as follows:

Students who are appearing privately shall fill and submit the application form on the official website of CBSE. The application fee is also required to be submitted online. CBSE Class 10 Registration: Important Instructions

The registration process is mandatory for a student to appear in the board examinations. All the CBSE-affiliated schools have to submit a list of students appearing for exam to the board after due cross-checking all the details. Some important instructions to be considered while submitting the registration form includes: 

  • Make sure that you are mentioning the spelling of the name of Student/Mother/Father/Guardian exactly the same as mentioned in the birth certificate.
  • The candidate’s date of birth must be the same as mentioned in the birth certificate and maintained as per the admission and withdrawal register by the school.
  • The complete name of the student and Mother/Father/Guardian must be mentioned. Abbreviations and nick names are not allowed.
  • Make sure that all the information presented while doing registration must be similar in all the documents including DOB Certificate, School Records, Aadhaar Card etc. 
  • Mother's name should be known after marriage.
  • The details that are required to be filled in during the registration process include the date of birth, father’s name, mother’s name, aadhar card number, subject details, etc.
  • The application form once submitted cannot be changed or edited later under any circumstances.

Ans. Yes, you can pursue class 10 from a different school. For this, you need to take your registration number of class 10 from your current school and an affidavit mentioning the valid reason.
