International Institute of Mass Media (IIMM), Delhi established in 1999 is a leading institute of mass communication in India. The media institute has been awarded the Best Short Film at the Indogma Film Festival in 2019. IIMM Delhi offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in mass media and postgraduate diploma programs covering fields such as digital marketing, electronic media, print media, advertising, public relations, video shooting, and editing. Admission to these courses is done on the basis of the entrance exam conducted at the institute's level. 

The faculty is among the highly qualified and from varied backgrounds providing technical and theoretical training. In addition, IIMM has guests who visit the Institute regularly to guide the students.

• SHIKSHA GAURAV PURASKAR, Ms. Pooja Priyamvada, was conferred the Shiksha Gaurav Puraskar (Educational Excellence Award) at EdTech Evolution Summit 2023 held in Delhi on 18th March 2023 by Universal Mentors Association and Brainwonders.
• IIMM Delhi is proud to announce our association with the London School of Digital Business UK. an International Brand impacting lives & creating employability through Digital Education. As an Associate Member with LSDB, we now bring unique curated training programs for students.
• IIMM Delhi was awarded the Institution of Happiness Award by QS- I Gauge in collaboration with Assocham in April 2022. This distinction has been awarded to only 32 other institutions from across India.
• IIMM Delhi collaborated with TRELL app- India's largest lifestyle videos and shopping app- that offered an exclusive four week course to our students about creating viral video content and enhancing their social media presence.
• IIMM Delhi’s short film “The Bench” won the award in the Hindi Cinema Category for the Best Story at the Indogma Film Festival 2019. The Bench is a collaborative project with tremendous work put in by our students under the guidance and mentorship of our beloved Mr. Parvez Khan.
• IIMM Delhi joined hands with SENN Productions to release Paharganj - The Film (2019). We are the only institute to become a media and research partner of a Bollywood feature film. Our students participated in the pre-production, production, and post-production work receiving one-of-a-kind learning experience.
• IIMM Delhi collaborated with SENN Productions to produce Masala India – the various spices of India-how they are grown, and how they have embellished Indian cuisine over the centuries. The program was telecast on DD Kisan channel.

IIMM Delhi Admissions

The candidates seeking admission in the institute must fulfill the eligibility criteria required for the course. The selection will be on the basis of a written entrance examination, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview. However, a few seats are open for direct admission via a cut-off list subsequently. Candidates can follow a few simple steps in order to apply for IIMM Delhi.

IIMM Delhi Placements

The International Institute of Mass Media has an active and dedicated placement cell. The graduates of the Institute are prepared to understand the evolving media industry and the needs of the market to achieve the highest standards in their specialized fields. Students have been placed in various reputed media houses. About 56 students of BJMC, 28 students of MJMC and 2 students of PGDAPRM are placed in top companies.

IIMM Delhi Scholarships

IIMM Delhi grants scholarships in between 20% to 40% of the total tuition fees under the following categories, limited to just 5 seats in each course in each session.

• Music- Certificate/proficiency in playing guitar/drums/tabla/keyboard (minimum one instrument)
• Dance & theatre- Certificate or professional experience with a group
• Graphic design/Editing/Camera work- Short-term course or professional experience
• Economically underprivileged category
• Exceptional Academic record in the qualifying class
   

IIMM Delhi Facilities

The students are offered global facilities at the International Institute of Mass Media Delhi. The following is a brief about the same: 

Hostel: IIMM offers accommodation to girls and boys separately. The hostels are equipped with several facilities such as air conditioning, Food, WiFi, Bed, Power Backup etc.

Classrooms and Labs: Along with fully air-conditioned and ergonomic seating, the classrooms are equipped with computers and projection system, whiteboards, and soft boards. Other labs include Computer Lab, Learning Resource Centre, Conference Room Editing Studio with non-linear editing machine, Sound and Radio Studio, Television Studio, Chroma Studio, Newsroom, Print Photography Unit. The lab facilities include PCR with Switcher and Talkback System, Track and Trolley; Boom mic; Highend Recording System; Teleprompter System; 4K HD Camera; Highend Lights including Cool Lights, LED Lights, and Softie Lights. 

Cultural Clubs and Societies:  “Kalamanthan” is the cultural society of IIMM Delhi. It organizes an annual festival Panache to integrate the craft, skills, knowledge and creativity of the students. There are Theatre Club, Photography Club, Music Club, Poetry Club, Debate Club, and Dance Club.  "Democrats" is the editorial society of IIMM Delhi. It serves the purpose of bringing about quality content in the field of Journalism and Mass Communication. Democrats has 50 active members over and has actively written over 80+ content on our Blog the IIMM Times "Cinemates" is the Film Club Society of IIMM Delhi. The purpose of this club is to study films and shoot documentaries.
