C. G. Bhakta Institute of Biotechnology (CGBIBT) was established in 2005. It is affiliated to Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat. It became part of Uka Tarsadia University in 2011. The college offers undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes in biotechnology. The alumni of CGBIBT are spread all over in reputed Indian and Foreign Universities.

CGBIBT Admission

  • Admission criteria for all the courses are done on the basis of merit.
  • Applications are available on the UTU website.
  • Processing Fees - INR 500 per course.
  • Candidates applying for more than one course are required to pay INR 100 extra per course.
  • Scholarship is provided to the reserved category candidates.
