Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Sonepat started its academic session in 2014 under the mentorship of National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra. It is a joint venture of MHRD, Govt. of India, the Govt. of Haryana with industries in Public-Private Partnership model. Currently, the institute is functioning from the campus of IIT Delhi.
IIIT Sonepat offers B.Tech in 3 specializations. The eligibility to apply for the course is a pass in 10+2 with PCM and admission is done through JoSAA based on the rank in JEE Main exam. Therefore, JEE Main qualified candidates are allotted a seat during the JoSAA counselling process.

How to Apply for IIIT Sonepat?
The application process for the B.Tech course offered by college will be done through the counseling process. Applicants need to follow a sequence of steps to apply for it which is mentioned as follows:
- Go to the official website of JoSAA.
- Click on the registration link.
- Candidates will have to use their JEE Main roll number and password to register.
- JEE Main qualified candidates will be able to use their corresponding password to log in.
- Basic details such as the candidate’s nationality, state code of eligibility, gender and more will be displayed on the screen. Candidates will have to review the details and reconfirm it.
- Candidates have to select IIIT Sonepat in counseling.
- The candidate will be selected on the basis of cut off issued by JEE Main.
- Selected candidates will be allotted a seat and they have to download their provisional allotment letter.
- Lastly, candidates need to confirm the seat by paying an initial fee.

Anyone who scores more than 75 per cent in 12 th class can apply for JEE MAINS 3 three times and get this College through JOSAA counselling. Application forms are available at the NTA website mostly in December with an Application fee of INR 1000 for males and 800 for females. There are particular seats according to the reservation.

To take admission I have cleared the jee mains exam. After clearing Jee's main exam I applied for Jossa or csab counseling. Then I got a seat in this college. If I talk about quota there is a category quota but there is no state quota and girls quota. I wanted this institute to have more branches.
