What students say about Ramanujan college

Likes

  • My course is BVoc software development. It is the best course because the syllabus of this course has now been changed and is based on BTech level. The teaching faculty is also the best as they are fully supportive.
  • So many companies are there that have very good relations with the college for offering offline and online internships to the students of Ramanujan College. They offer profiles such as data managers, campus ambassadors, graphics designers, etc.
  • There are placements provided by the college in many big companies, and many students often opt for higher studies.
  • No facilities or loans are offered by our college to any students. To the best of my knowledge, nothing is provided by our college, and if there is something I am unaware of, please let me know.
  • The fest happens many times; approximately, I attend 5-6 fests from this college until admissions in this college.
  • There will be boys and girls hostels available in separate buildings with 24-hour security.
  • This College has one of the best faculties for Statistics in Delhi University. Talking about the College, it has a very good environment with good infrastructure.

Dislike

  • The placement opportunities are numerous in number, but they are not extraordinary as they are only for graduate students.
  • My fees were 12K per, which is very less in terms of the quality of campus and education provided.
  • There are no hostel facilities in our college, which is the only drawback in my point of view. As it becomes very difficult for an outstation student to adjust to an unknown city

Placement Experience:

English Hons students did not get many placement offers. All we had were a couple of internship opportunities or basic sales roles. No specific company came to recruit people from our department. Moreover, the placement cell ran by bcom students who did not care about us.

Remarks:

It was based on merit and the best four we had in our 12th boards. We had to select one core and one elective subject along with two more subjects. OBC and other categories had lesser cutoffs. We had to go with our mark sheet at college and submit the requisite documentation. The fee payment option was available online once we submitted it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose bcom because I am from a commerce background and with CA I need to do a corresponding course that's why bcom is the best option. The faculty is good in our college They teach us with the presentations they made. They are postgraduates. Term exams are conducted every six months and they are not very difficult.

Remarks:

Eligibility:- minimum 60 percent You can find the application form online on the delhi university site ... application fee is rs 350 and the application date start from mid-August Reservation benefits are there. Yes ...there are some people who don't have a laptop or a desktop so the application form should also be in offline mode

In this college students are eligible for placement from 3rd (5th semester). 40% of students get placed and most of the students go for master's I have also. Approx 20-30 company visits in our college average salary 3lpa.

Remarks:

I have to pursue b.voc software development from Ramanujan College. When I have taken admission there is a cut-off-based admission system but now the admission process is entrance based. Eligibility +2 with mathematics.

For the exam, I will say that it has semester-based. Exam so if you read period 1-month exam you can score good marks. No tough to pass the exam

Remarks:

Now it has been based on cucet based exam and has to crack the cutoff. There is now no available admission based on 12th based percentage showing all apply for the cucet exam. And yes there is a lot of reservation available you can get many fee concession from the college I have also got.

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite average the companies are coming to the college the average salary would be around 3 to 4 LPA and the top recruiters are KPMG, EY, Travclan, etc. the highest package is around 8 LPA lowest would be around 2 LPA. A lot of students got placed as well. Overall it's average.

Remarks:

There was a cut-off according to class 12th marks. Around 10 cut-off lists were out and then admission was given to the students who qualified for the cut-offs. All the information about the admissions process was used to display on Delhi University's official website du.ac.in.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to do a private sector job for which my course can be a good background and help me with practical knowledge. The faculty of the college is strict which it should be in terms of learning, overall the faculty is good. Teachers are excellent and great at their job.

Remarks:

My course is a professional course (BMS) that I am pursuing at Ramanujan College of Delhi University. For any course, we have to give CUET exam, and then the basis of its marks, cut off is generated and you are allotted with a college of your eligibility.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester, College students become eligible for placement. They have lots of internship options as well. Our college has also made it mandatory to do an internship. Almost 70% of my course got placed and most of them opt for higher studies like mca or MBA.

Remarks:

The College Is Decent And Infrastructure-Wise, This College Is Far Better Than Most Of The Du Colleges. Introspection By Me Has Revealed to Me That This College Provides More Internships Opportunity For Professional Courses Like B.Voc, Physiology, Etc, My Course Is Vocational Software Development And In This Course, We Are Offered To Do Coding. Not Much Expected From College For Placements. You Have To Apply To Different Company Based On Your Cv.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are coming regularly for 3rd-year students generally for BMS there are positions of analyst, accountant, salesperson etc available and students can apply for them if they want to. The average package they hold is around 4lpa. From top tier KPMG, aon, Deloitte etc came to college for hiring for a post of analyst. Also if students from every course can apply for placements if they want to.

Remarks:

I got admission through an entrance exam named DU-JAT. Which is now CUET. The exam consists of logical reasoning, English, mathematical reasoning and general reasoning. The exam had more questions about mathematics than others. I got admission here in the spot round. Applications were available at a du website with a minimal fee of 1000 and the admissions process started after the entrance exam through the online process and fees were paid online. A score of 3000 in du-jat would help you get admission to BMS.
