Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, often referred to as JNMC, is a constituent college of Aligarh Muslim University. The college offers an MBBS Programmes, 22 post graduate courses and 9 Ph.D programmes. It has an intake capacity of 150 for undergraduate and 146 for postgraduate. Admissions to the undergraduate and postgraduate courses are done on the basis of the NEET UG and PG examinations respectively. After giving the examination, the candidate must register for the online counselling session, during which JNMC must be selected under choice of college. The candidate must also apply at the website of Aligarh Muslim University after the examination results are declared.

- Visit the official website ie. https://www.ntaneet.nic.in/ and click on the ‘New Registration’ link. Click on Apply online and fill in the form.
- On receiving the Login credentials, sign in using the same and complete the Application form.

Post-Allotment Process
Post the allotment process, if JNMC is allotted to the candidate, the candidate must report to the university at the intimated time. The documents required to be submitted for verification process at the college include:

JNMC AMU Hostel
JNMC AMU hostel is known as the Halls of residence, of which 19 are built. 13 are reserved for boys while 6 are reserved for girls. All students of AMU must stay at the Halls of Residence unless they are residents of Aligarh or living with very close relations. The facilities include a Common Room along with indoor gaming, a Reading Room, Library, Sports Clubs and a Literary and Cultural Society.

- Library: The library has 5 lecture theatres with a seating capacity of 150 students each. It is spread over three floors and stocks more than 55,000 books on all subjects of medicine. It has been selected by the National Medical Library for its Pilot Project of “Interlinking of Government Medical College Libraries with NML”.
- Sports Centre: Many Olympic Hockey players of India are alumni of AMU. The facilities include 15 clubs and some sub-clubs. Ques. What are the important NEET details?
Ans. NEET 2020 exam will be conducted in offline mode on 26th July. It is a 3 hour long paper. Despite requests to conduct NEET twice a year, it will be conducted only once this year. Application fee for NEET examination is INR 1400. It has three sections: physics, chemistry and biology/bio-tech. Each correct answer is rewarded 4 marks, while each wrong answer deducts one mark. All questions are multiple choice.
