Raja Rajeswari College of Engineering came into existence in 2006 with the objective of becoming a center of excellence in technical education. Under the UG domain it offers B.E courses in six different specializations and under the PG domain it offers M.Tech., MBA, and MCA programs. RRCE also offers Ph.D. research programs in seven different specializations.
B.E admissions are done on the basis of Karnataka CET. To be eligible for the same, the candidates must have passed the 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Maths as compulsory subjects.
Admission to the M.Tech. program is granted on the basis of the candidates performance in GATE or PGCET exams.
For MBA there are seats in both management and government quota and selection is done on the basis of CMAT/CAT/XAT/Karnataka Management Admission test. Admission to the MCA program is granted on the basis of the candidate’s performance in PGCET.
The institute offers a Ph.D. under 7 areas of specialization for a duration of three years. Admission to the same is granted on the basis of the merit followed by an interview.

RRCE Bangalore Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria
The candidates shall possess a Master’s Degree in Engineering / Technology or equivalent or M.Sc. (Engg.) by Research degree from the University or any other University recognized by it, with a minimum CGPA of 6.75 out of 10 or 60% aggregate marks at either the Bachelor’s or the Master’s Degree.
RRCE Bangalore Ph.D. Selection Criteria
An Expert committee under each Faculty, constituted by the Vice-Chancellor shall scrutinize the applications received and recommend the names of selected persons to be recognized as Research Supervisors to the AS and EC for their approval.
The selected candidates must appear for an interview.
