For admission to engineering colleges in Kerala, we are required to attend the KEAM examination. This exam would have three parts- Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with Mathematics having a higher weightage. A student can apply for this course through the KEAM portal and is required to submit a few documents like an income certificate, Nationality, and caste certificate for students belonging to categories other than general. This is done for reservation purposes. After the rank list is published, the admission processes start.
