About Thiagarajar College
Thiagarajar College Madurai was established in 1947 with an aim to serve the society by providing affordable quality higher education to all. It is an autonomous government-aided institution which is affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University. The college is accredited with ‘A’ grade by NAAC and has been ranked 18th in NIRF 2023 Rankings among top colleges in India.
The college offers 25 undergraduate courses while 15 postgraduate courses. It also offers PhD & M.Phil. courses in various specializations. Some of the courses are government aided and others are self-financed. In total 512 students were successfully placed at different companies in 2019. Top courses offered at Thiagarajar College include B.Com, BCA, BBA, MA and M.Com. Admissions at various programs offered by the college are done solely on the merit basis of the qualifying exam.

- Staff gives very good coaching so that students can easily face their exams better.
- The internship process is great here. Companies like ZOHO, TRINGAPPS, TCS, CTS, and so on.
Dislikes
- Lots of biotechnological companies came to our college, but they offer a lower package to undergraduate students - only 1 lakh per annum. However, we have a minimum guaranteed job.
- My opinion on campus life provided by my college is a little bad, and the package offered by them is low. They only offer around 10,000 to 15,000 per month.
