Aspirants seeking admission to 4 years Full-time B.Tech Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement

• The candidate seeking admission to the 1st year BE Degree Course should have passed the 2nd PUC / 10+2 higher secondary education or equivalent qualifying examination with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in the optional subjects as Physics and Mathematics with Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology, or Computer Science. 
• In case of SC, ST& OBC the minimum aggregate marks in the above said optional subjects shall not be less than 40% in the qualifying examination.

For Lateral Entry:

• The candidates, who have passed in the diploma examination of the related courses conducted at SPCE can apply for the admission to the third semester, i.e. 2nd year B.E. course in the appropriate branch as per the regulations of the university

For NRI:

• The students seeking admission under the management and NRI category can apply directly to the college with the application forms available free of cost from the college website and the admission will be considered on merit as per the marks obtained by the candidate in the aggregate of optional subjects of the qualifying examination. 

Entrance Exam:
Admission is done through COMEDK for All India students and KEA (CET Cell) for Karnataka students.
