Once the CUET results are released, the registration process will start in three phases. PGDAV College provides UG curriculum for 3 years as a full-time regular course. All the UG courses like, B.A, B.Sc and B.Com are offered as Honors and General courses. PGDAV College (Evening) UG Selection Process

Candidates seeking admission to the UG courses at PGDAV College must clear the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The final selection will be done through e-counselling conducted by Delhi University on the basis of CUET scores. CUET is divided into the following three sections:

  • Section 1 Languages: this further contains two sections, ‘A’ and ‘B’. Section ‘A’ contains 13 languages such as Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, etc. Section ‘B’ contains 20 languages such as French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, etc. For admission candidates must at least appear in one language. 
  • Section 2 Domain Specific: There are 27 domain specific subjects in this section. Candidates are required to refer to the program specific eligibility criteria in order to select domain specific subjects. 
  • Section 3 General Test: General test for any UG programme offered by the university where the general test is being used for admission. Candidates must refer to the program specific eligibility criteria for selecting general tests.

  • Upon opening the website candidates will find the ‘Register’ tab, they must click on it.

  • After this, candidates will be directed to the application form. Candidates must fill in the required details carefully. 
  • After filling the necessary details candidates will have to upload important documents such as signature, photograph, marksheet, etc. Candidates must upload all the required documents. 
  • Candidates need to pay the application fee at the time of submitting the form or else the Online Application Form will not be considered.
  • After submitting the fee, candidates print out the form and save a hard copy for future reference.

  • Visit the official website of Delhi University – admission.uod.ac.in or CSAS portal – cuet.samarth.ac.in.
  • Click on “Register” in the menu bar.
  • Read all the information carefully and then click on “proceed”.
  • Enter your personal and academic details.
  • Submit the necessary documents such as photograph, signature, class X marksheet, category certificate.

Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Admission Process 2023

Delhi University has introduced the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for admission to UG courses for all its affiliated colleges. The entire process is explained below:

Phase 1: CSAS Application Form

  • Aspirants are required to fill the CSAS application form on the centralized admission portal by paying a one-time non-refundable application fee.
  • ECA and sports quota candidates will have to pay an additional fee.

Phase 2: Selection of Courses and College Preferences

  • Second phase will start after the results of the CUET examination are declared.
  • After the CUET Result declaration, eligible candidates will have to select the courses and fill the preference of desired colleges on the centralised CSAS portal.

Phase 3: Seat Allocation and Final Admission

  • Merit list will be declared on the basis of CUET scores.
  • Multiple rounds of seat allotment will be conducted. 
  • Candidates will have to check if they have been allotted a seat on the CSAS dashboard. If allotted, candidates must accept their seat on or before the given date for that particular round.
  • Seat allocation will be based on multiple factors such as - combination of college and program chosen, position of the candidate on the merit list, category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR) of the candidate, and availability of seats.
  • Upon acceptance of seat, the university will check eligibility, verify documents, and confirm admission after receiving the payment of fee.

Selected candidates then can choose to accept/freeze or upgrade their seats by the given date. Selection for Sports and Extracurricular Activities (ECA) candidates will be made on the basis of combined score of CUET (25%) and performance test (75%). Certificates will also be considered for the same along with the CUET score. As per the DU admission policy, 50% seats are reserved for minorities in colleges like St. Stephens. 85% of marks for admission will be taken from the CUET, and colleges will decide the remaining 15%.     Admission:

    I did take the entrance process. First of all, we had to register ourselves on nta ex website for enrollment in the common University entrance exam test and then we get filled out the form for the test after a month and also had our admit card for the test. After which the test was conducted at the respective centres. After which fever told to apply at CSAS Portal of Delhi University After which the counselling merit list started and I had many with the first merit list

    I gave a cuet exam. The students who passed 12th within 2 chances can appear in the exam everything was found at the cuet site I didn't get reservation benefits no improvement I wanted to see in the admission process it was good.
