Vidya Vikas Pratishthan Institute of Engineering & Technology (VVPIET) was established in 2009 under the aegis of Vidya Vikas Pratishthan Society.VVPIET   has been founded by eight highly eminent personalities who are Technocrats, Bureaucrats, and Enterpreneneurs. The institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi, recognized by DTE Maharashtra and affiliated to Solapur University
