Vidya Vikas Pratishthan Institute of Engineering & Technology (VVPIET) was established in 2009 under the aegis of Vidya Vikas Pratishthan Society.VVPIET has been founded by eight highly eminent personalities who are Technocrats, Bureaucrats, and Enterpreneneurs. The institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi, recognized by DTE Maharashtra and affiliated to Solapur University

- Mission of the Institute is “To foster a new generation of outstanding technical persons who will be catalysts for change & March towards excellence in the fields of engineering, which will help ultimately to society”
