M.Phil. (Psychiatric Social Work) From Post Graduate Institute of Behavioral and Medical Sciences, Raipur

Candidate must be pass in MA (Sociology / Social Work).

Admission to above courses shall be based on the merit to be determined by the entrance examination and interview, provided the candidates fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria.

However, the applicant does not require to appear in the entrance test if he / she fulfils the following conditions:

• Candidate has qualified U.G.C/ CSIR (JRF) Examination/ NET/ SLET/ GATE/ is a Teacher Fellowship holder.
• Candidate has Passed M.Phil./M.E./M.tech from statutory University.
• Candidate has having 5 years regular (unconditional approval) teaching experience at U.G. /P.G. level.
• Research Scholars /Person/Senior Citizens with exceptional abilities and has passed Graduate Degree Examination with 55% of Marks and with 15 years’ experience after graduation in related field (subject to discretion of Vice-chancellor).

Such candidates a have only to qualify in the interview conducted by the University

The entrance test shall be based on General Aptitude, Language, Information and Communication and the subject at master’s level. The detailed information regarding the syllabus is given on the university website: www.prsu.ac.in

Counselling:

The candidates who are selected in the entrance examination are required to participate in the interview/counselling process. Such candidates are directed to bring the application form, photocopies and the originals of the attached documents for the purpose of verification  viz:

• Transfer Certificate.
• Conduct Certificate.
• Original mark sheet for verification.
• Eligibility Certificate, if required.
• Migration Certificate, if required.
• NOC from the Employer in case of in service candidate
