There are 5 specializations under MBA course which includes Finance, HR, Marketing, Banking & Insurance and Hospital Administration.
Candidates who are applying through Management Quota have to pay INR 2,80,000 towards the course fees. While candidates applying through Government Quota have to pay INR 70,000 + Government Fees.
There are 60 seats each under both Quotas.
AJ Institute of Management MBA Eligibility
The minimum requirement for the course is mentioned below:
- Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST candidates).
- Preference is given to candidates who have work experience in industry/business/armed forces/government, at a supervisory level
- Those who are sponsored by industry/business houses or owns a family business are also eligible.
- Candidates who have passed professional qualifications in chartered accountancy, cost accounting and company secretary ship can also apply.
- Final year students are also eligible to apply.
AJ Institute of Management MBA Selection Criteria
- AJIM accepts different exam scores for granting admission.
- Applicants who are applying through Management Quota need to have a valid score in KMAT/CAT/MAT/CMAT.
- While, those who are applying through Government Quota should have a valid KEA score.
- The selected will be called for Counselling round.
- In this round, they will be allotted a seat.
- To confirm the admission, students have to pay the first installment of fees before the given deadline.
NOTE - If any student fails to pay the fee within the stipulated time then the admission authority will allot that seat to those who are on the waitlist.
The selection criteria differs for the company sponsored candidates. In case of such students the institute shortlist students on the basis of entrance exams core. The screened candidates will further be called for GD and PI rounds. Those who obtains aggregate merit in entrance exam score, GD and PI are finally selected for admission.
