Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants seeking admission to the Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement:
He / She should have passed 2 Science or XII standard with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the following subjects from Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Electronics / Information Technology / Statistics/Computer Science. • He / She should have passed 3 years diploma in Engineering in appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology from State Council of Technical Education and Training (SCTE & VT) or equivalent with a minimum of 45% (40% for the candidates belonging to ST/SC category).
• He / She should have possessed a valid rank card of OJEE 2015.
• He / She should be a native of Odisha / should have completed his / her 3 years diploma in Engineering course in an institute of Odisha.
• He / She should have opted Seemanta Engineering College as his / her choice & mentioned the disciplines of Engineering available for admission in to B.Tech. Programme through Lateral Entry scheme during the time of online choice fill up and at Nodal Centers of OJEE during counseling.

For Admission to 2nd year Degree Courses in Engineering & Technology under Lateral entry scheme for B.Sc./+3 Science Students:

• He / She should have passed Bachelors Degree of Examination of 3 years duration in Science in the relevant field from any University of Odisha or equivalent recognized university as defined by UGC with a minimum of 45% (40% for the candidates belonging to ST/SC category) in aggregate in the qualifying examination and must have passed XII standard with mathematics as a subject.
