NITIE Mumbai offers scholarships to its students in three categories as mentioned below:-
- Scholarships Type 1
NITIE Mumbai Scholarships type 1 provide a 30% tuition fee waiver to its students. This fee waiver is for those students enrolled in the postgraduate programs whose total family income falls below INR 2.50 lakh in the last financial year.
- Scholarships Type 2
NITIE Mumbai Scholarships type 2 offers 50% waiver of tuition fee: This fee waiver is applicable to all those students enrolled in the postgraduate programs whose total family income falls below INR 1.00 lakh in the last financial year.
- Teaching Assistantship
NITIE Mumbai provides teaching assistantship to GATE qualifiers with an amount worth INR 12,400 per month and contingency expenditure as per rules.
Scholarships offered by the Government of India
SC / ST candidates are granted Central Sector Scholarship as per the Government scheme. Scholarships offered by the Government of India are as mentioned further:-

Offered by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, GoI, to SC students. It is provided based on their annual parental income for the previous financial year.
