Candidates seeking admission in the B.Tech courses are required to pass Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination of the Council of Higher Secondary Education, West Bengal, or any equivalent examination of recognized Board or University with 45% marks in PCM ( 40% for SC/ST ) and qualify in the Joint Entrance Examination and get admitted through Online Web-based e-counselling to be conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board(WBJEEB) under the purview of the Department of Higher Education ,Govt.of West Benga,AICTE,WBUT.

There are 4 to 5 Facility members. Each of them is a very knowledgeable member. Some of them are GATE Qualified. Gate is not also easy examination. There are examinations held every month. There are 4 no of CA examination. Each month contains one CA examination. One month practical. And last contains the Semester examination.
In our Murshidabad College of Engineering Technology, every sir is very helpful to their students and supports them in their studies. They give us a note. And the exams are done in a timely, sometimes it's difficult if you do not study the overall books and notes.
It's a good course because of govt and private job opportunities. There are appropriate faculties and no of students almost 60. Faculty nos 5 in Civil. All of them are M.Tech holders. If one reads regularly no problem to pass.
