Malabar Christian College was established in 1901 and is one of the oldest colleges in South India. It is affiliated with the University of Calicut and is managed by the Church of South India (CSI) diocese of Malabar. The college is recognised by the UGC under 2(f) & 12B. Malabar Christian College was also accreditated grade ‘A’ with 3.30 CGPA by the NAAC. 

It offers both undergraduate, postgraduate and research courses across all three streams. The college offers B.Sc., B.Com, BA, M.Sc, MA, and PhD in related subjects.
