What's New in LDCE?
- LDCE BE admission 2024 is based on the GUJCET exam. The GUJCET exam 2024 dates are out. The application form is scheduled to be released in February 2024. The exam will take place on April 02, 2024.
- LDCE MTech Admissions are based on the GATE 2024 score. The registration process for GATE is over and the admit card will be released on January 03 onwards. GATE 2024 will occur on 03, 04, and 10, 11 February 2024.
Lalbhai Dalpatbhai College of Engineering (LDCE) is a government college which was established in 1948, in the city of Ahmedabad. The college is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University (GTU).

- Selection is on the basis of PGCET/GATE score card.
- GATE qualified students don’t need to appear for PGCET.
How to Apply for LD College of Engineering?
To apply for B.E, candidates should first get the User ID from Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Board (GSEB). A Demand Draft of INR 300 as application fee should be submitted at help centers of GSEB to get User the ID. This ID is used to fill the application form.
For M.E, the candidates have to procure a PIN cover by paying INR 1000 (non-refundable) per discipline in cash only from the designated branches of Dena Bank. They have to register online after procuring the PIN cover.
Note: The college provides scholarships to candidates belonging to SC and ST categories. For general category candidates, Indian Oil Scholarship is provided.

The eligibility for the course is that one should have opted for PCM i.e.; physics, chemistry, and maths for the 12th studies and should have secured at least 45% or above respectively. There is benifit of online general admission process that's why you take admission from all over gujarat without visiting the college. But you get only thos college where your cutoff eligibile.

I got admission on base of the results GUJCAT+Gujrat board exam and students also apply on the base of the results of the JEE +gujrat board exam. One thing I want to suggest to ACPC the admission process is a little bit lengthy so I request that ACPC improve it.
