IPEC M.Tech Eligibility

For admission to either of the 3-degree programs, students must have the following degrees:

• Computer Science & Engineering: B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology and related branches of MCA, M.Sc (CS) or M.Sc (IT). 
• VLSI Design: B.Tech / B.E. in Electronics Engineering and related branches of M.Sc (Electronics).
• Production Engineering: B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering and related branch with at least 60% aggregate for General / OBC candidates and 55% marks for SC/ST candidates. 

*Note: Candidates with the above qualifications and valid GATE score will be given first preference for admission. 

IPEC M.Tech Admission Process

Candidates have to fill the online application form of UPTU, Lucknow. The 85% of seats are filled through Counselling and 15% through Management Quota. 

Apply for GATE 2020

GATE is required by those students who are willing to apply for a master’s or Ph.D. program. The section below throws light upon the registration and requirement of documents.

Documents Required

• Scanned photograph and signature 
• Valid Photo ID (Aadhaar Card/Passport/Driving License/PAN Card/Voter ID/College ID/Employee Identification Card/Notarized Affidavit with Photo, Signature, Date of Birth and Residential Address).
• Degree Certificate/Provisional Certificate/Course Completion Certificate.
• Copy of mark sheet of V /VI /VII semester.
• Final year students must submit Provisional Certificate Letter as per format issued by the Home of Institute/Dean/Registrar/Head of Dept.
• Candidates in the final year of AMIE have to submit their mark sheet for Section A of AMIE in case of professional equivalent qualifications.
• Caste Certificate/Disability or PwD Certificate (if applicable).
• Candidates pursuing a higher degree or masters have to submit the qualifying degree certificate.
