Likes
- If you study well only in the classroom, then you can easily pass these exams.
- There are so many companies that come for internships, such as Bajaj Private Limited, which is the top recruiting company, as well as many others.
- There are many companies that come to college for placement, such as Reliance, Infosys, and many others.
- That is 5000 rupees. I also received that for three years. Its a good thing if students are rewarded for their efforts.
- If you are a city person, then this probably isnt the best place for you.
- As it is a government college, the hostel fee is negligible, but the infrastructure is not very good.
- Though the college is in a very beautiful place and the fee is also nominal, the quality of education is degrading.
Dislike
- So, the placement here is very bad, and students have to grab a job after their B.Tech from e-litmus, AMCAT, or Pool Placement.
- The rooms are well-built, but the mess food is of very bad quality, and sometimes it becomes very difficult to eat the mess food because of the terrible taste.
- The behavior of the fourth class is not good towards us; it is the only problem here.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Not all professors are Ph.D. holders. The curriculum is poorly designed. You get choices for electives only after the 4th sem. The curriculum is old. There are 3 exams in one sem.
Remarks:
Admission is done based on JEE score. Preference is given to the students with Uttarakhand domicile. The cutoff for GEN males (Uttarakhand) is around 130000 AIR for CSE. and is almost the same for CSE AI&ML. For girls, it is around 180000-200000 AIR. Note: UTU conducts counseling for all the govt. colleges in Uttarakhand.
Placement Experience:
Placement in biotechnology is like to found land in the ocean. Biotechnology company's visits are very low in number they are just rare. But in other streams placement is good especially in AI and CSE electrical and electronics too
Remarks:
Basically, during covid time there was merit-based admission in biotechnology but there is a separate exam for that ie gbpietcee. Basic eligibility is just intermediate from biology or maths in any of the field
Placement Experience:
Placement for computer science students is good almost every student in every batch is placed in some good company off campus placement is also good due to the hard work of the students well students should maintain a good cgpa.
Remarks:
I took jee examination in which my rank was eligible for admission to this college through Uttrakhand counseling conducted by UTU (Uttarakhand technical university). The registration was conducted in college or we can say physical counseling.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose this course because of my keen interest in technology. In my college there is a good student-to-teacher ration which is 20:1 . Almost all the faculties are M.Tech holders and many of them even hold Ph.D. Exams are held every 1-2 months.
Remarks:
You must qualify for JEE Mains for admission into CSE of GBPIET. You can find the application form on the official website of NTA. I didn't avail myself of any type of reservation benefit. No improvement is required in the admission process.
Placement Experience:
Students are available for placement during the final year. The college offers good on-campus placement for CSE, with a medium package of 3-4 LPA. Some students were placed at 10-12 LPA. Some students prepare for gate exams after graduation.
Remarks:
The admission is based on jee mains rank. The admission form is available on the utu website in august-September. There are state domicile and reservation benefits. The college offers B.Tech, MTech and MCA.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I get a chance to get an ECE branch in this college. The overall faculty is very good there are so many iitians and Ph.D. facilities especially in the civil branch and ECE branch so the overall ratio is very good. The exam is very tough but if you have studied class notes and assignments it is enough to get good marks in every exam.
Remarks:
You must have a 200000 CRC rank in jee to get admission in CSE and CSE Aim. the application form you can find it on the gbpiet website and you just have to pay around 2000 for registration. There is a reservation for sc and st students. spot round of this college must be online because the college is situated 110km from Haridwar so it is very diffuse to go there
Placement Experience:
The college believes more in education and excellence than placement. Notwithstanding that the placement ratio of college is around 80% which is through all top-notch companies in the field for any engineering college. Campus placement at our location is not that much as the college is in hilly areas companies do not visit. Our training placement cell make arrangement for the student to stop go Dehradun Roorkee Pantnagar and other places for placement

The faculty is great for the electrical department but not for all other departments. Teachers are also well qualified. Teachers are helpful and give you great attention.
