CARE School of Engineering offers BE under 5 different fields of specializations. Selection of the candidates for B.E. is purely merit-based through TNEA counselling.
The minimum eligibility criterion to take admission to the course is the candidate should have passed 10+2/ higher secondary with 50% marks and PCM as compulsory subjects from any recognised board.

Candidates belonging to OBC category are granted a 5% relaxation in the aggregate score of qualifying exam while the SC/ ST/ MBC/ DNC are provided a relaxation of 10%.
- The total intake of BE course is 60.
- Wards of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are also eligible to apply for TNEA.
- Candidates who have done their 8th to 12th standard study from Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply for TNEA.
- The minimum age to apply for under-graduate course is 17 years.
Note: Candidates with a Diploma in Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Computer are eligible to apply directly for B.E. 2nd year through Lateral admission.
