Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the electronics and communication branch because I was interested in this branch. I see there is so much to do and explore in this branch once you get involved. So talking about the student-faculty ratio, there is one teacher for about 60 students. All the faculty staff is Ph.D. graduates from IITs and NITs. The director of our institute is a Ph.D. from IIT Delhi itself. The term exam is easy to pass if you are just consistent.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Electronic & Communication branch provides a good understanding of electronic devices and gives a very basic and advanced idea about the devices. Many faculty has a degree of doctorate and few have done MTech. Approximately 4-5 months have been scheduled for each semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted Computer Science, but unluckily got admission to ECE. The faculty is average in a normal college, some are good, some are intelligent, and also some with less knowledge All the Faculty is Ph.D. or Doctor. Exams are Overall easy, because, we have in-home exams so important topics and previous year's papers work.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courses here available are good and the faculty members are also good but as we know that in college we should not depend on our professor for studying . We have to study ourselves with online materils and books. The exams in college are not so hard except some subjects . There is at least one subject in a semester which will be hard to clear and other are very easy. Its preparation can be done one night beofre exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is lengthy and sufficient I think, overall experience with the faculty has been great till now except for some which are everywhere, not everyone can learn from everyone, in the end, it's you who have to put in the effort.

Ques. Should I take electronics and communication at JIIT Noida or BIET Jhansi?

● Top Answer By Sudeshna Sengupta on 21 Apr 21

Many of the students do not find ECE as an interesting branch due to the following reason: It is often seen that India has less scope in ECE among all the other engineering branches. In the private sector, the value of CS/IT is more than ECE. They also have better packages than ECE. If the student wants to go for PSU, there is greater scope in Mechanical or Electrical. If the student wants to go for engineering services, Civil is a better option. And if the student wants to go for higher education, any branch can be taken as per their choice. Now, coming back to the choice between the two colleges, we know: JIIT Noida will help the student land a job after 4 years of engineering in ECE or any other branch in any MNC offering packages between 4-4.5 LPA. If the student wants to secure a big position in any Electronics company, then they will be in the top position among the ECE graduates. Very few core ECE companies visit the campus for recruitments and select a very less number of students. However, the students can also try for off-campus placements. The faculties at both institutes are good. If the student wants to secure good, any college between the two can be chosen but the student will have to work hard. A lot of effort will be needed in ECE organizations....Read more

Ques. Should I choose mechanical at Thapar or ECE at BIET Jhansi?

● Top Answer By Ekta Pandey on 21 Apr 21

The best advice and answer for your question would be to, “Follow your heart". This is not supposed to be cliché but the best choice that you can make would be the one where you believe your career is. If you have a keen interest in machines, automobiles, and thermodynamics, then you must opt for Mechanical Engineering. If you hold an interest in circuit branches, then you should opt for Electrical Engineering. If you realise your niche and have an honest interest in your branch then your choice of college would not matter much as the Course curriculum for Engineering is almost the same for both colleges. A lot of people believe that Mechanical Engineering is the toughest but you should do your research before opting for your branch. Choosing the right branch will also give you enough time to prepare for CAT while attending your college. Thapar University can be the best option if you can afford the fee. You will be given better job opportunities once you complete the degree. BIET Jhansi is recognized in UP only and the placement opportunity is very less. A few of my friends from BIET Jhansi have often complained about lack of resources and a very competitive environment. ...Read more

Ques. How is BIET Jhansi for ECE?

● Top Answer By Vihaan Yadav on 01 Jul 21

ECE is quite a good branch for pursuing a B.Tech degree. If you are expecting a good placement in BIET Jhansi for electronics then it is not that simple for you to achieve. However, you will be placed in one of the software companies that visit the college’s campus for recruitment. The placement records for CSE have been pretty good but the same cannot be said for the Electronics branch. You do not need to worry about placements now. If you really like Electronics and the concepts involved in its study, there are many other options for you as well in BIET and you will have a lot of time for self-studies. The faculty members are a bit strict but you can bear it to some extent. You will meet some nice people there....Read more
