Sree Vidyanikethan College of Pharmacy (SVCP) has been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and has an intake of 60 students annually. The college offers co-education and is spread over the straddled campus of amidst picturesque environs facing the Tirumala Hills. State-of-the-art laboratories, IT savvy infrastructure, and eminent teaching faculty are exclusive strengths of the institution. SVCP faculty adopt extremely useful methods of teaching to ensure that the newly qualified pharmacist has the necessary skills and knowledge to commence practicing professionally in a variety of settings including hospital pharmacy, community centers and the pharmaceutical industry. They believe that continuing professional development must then be a lifelong commitment for every practicing pharmacist.

As a pharmaceutical college, they have their independent animal house on the campus to house small laboratory animals required for learning and carrying out pre-clinical studies. It has been built as per the norms of CPCSEA (Committee for the Purpose of Supervision of Experiments on Animals, Ministry of Forests and Environment) and it is also a mandatory requirement of AICTE and PCI (Pharmacy Council of India).
