This program concerns itself with issues surrounding justice, crime, offenders, victims, the criminal justice system, and other forms of social sanctions and controls. Students in the Criminal Justice program become familiar with defining what is justice, historical, and contemporary explanations of crime, and the research literature on criminal justice agencies such as the police, the courts, and corrections.
