- Students entering this program come from a variety of backgrounds, including Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, and others.
- Each student is provided with a personal work area in one of the graduate student offices.
- The Master of Applied Science (MASc) requires four courses, one graduate seminar, and a research thesis.
- The thesis must include an original contribution to the discipline and should include material of publishable quality.
- The typical length of time to complete the MASc is two years.
