It is an excellent university.

TN
8.0 /5

It was the number one program in Canada for business management. It was also located in a major city, which was something that was important to me.

Course Curriculum :

My course is extremely relevant and is constantly taught in the format that is most relevant to the real world. For example, several of my courses have already made the impact of COVID-19 on business a core part of their curriculum.

Exams :

I had to submit my high-school transcripts, predicted grades, and IELTS score. I completed a common application for all Canadian universities where I submitted this information (OCAS) and then completed specific application questions that are randomly generated during a timed test. These were a combination of typed answers and video answers to questions regarding myself, why I wanted to attend UofT, and my future aspirations. The only interview I had was the video interview as described above. The best way to ace these in my opinion is to have talking points prepared about your personal strengths, weaknesses, future plans, and why you want to attend that specific university/program.

Placement :

There are several career offices for each specific field and an online database for available opportunities.

Events :

Campus life at UofT is exceptional. There is access to everything a student could want on campus, whether it is libraries, sports facilities, or student clubs. The student clubs in particular have played a large part in shaping my UofT experience. I am currently the president of the Bollywood dance club on campus and the vice-president of the Indian Students' Society.

Fees :

$60,000 CAD

Scholarship :

I received a $94,000 CAD scholarship based on my application to the University of British Columbia, however, I chose to attend a different university. There was no special application for this scholarship.

Faculty :

I am not sure about this information. However, all faculty members I have encountered have always been extremely approachable and willing to help those that ask for it.

Hostel :

I live in an independent apartment building however it is located on campus property. It is a studio apartment and rent is approximately 1350 CAD per month.
