University Of Toronto- Ups and Downs

N
8.0 /10

They have very good graduate programs, and there are many options to network. I have heard my friends say that UofT is a very prestigious school and that attending opens up many career opportunities.

Course Curriculum :

I think that the curriculum can be a bit tough, and some courses try to cover too much material. Students often miss out on understanding topics in depth when they are forced to cram for exams. However, the professors are very knowledgeable.

Fees :

The fee structure was pretty standard for UofT, as graduate students, we do get a stipend and our fees are covered through funding. The other charges were reasonable.

Scholarship :

I received a funding package when I started my graduate studies. The process was straight forward and everything was explained very well to me.

Examination Structure :

The exams were mostly on memorizing information and are generally hard. Students have to spend a lot of time studying to get a good grade on the exam. I felt like there was too much information to consume, and the professors did not go into each topic in depth.

Faculty :

I think that the faculty is very supportive. All the professors that I have worked with were very helpful and went out of their way to help students out. They were also understanding of how much works students have and try to schedule assignments accordingly.
