The Certificate in General Business at Douglas College is offered as 1 year or 2-term teaching program.

Academic Eligibility:

Students have to complete High school graduation or a minimum of 17 years of age by the end of the first month of studies in the semester of entry to Douglas College.
Students hold a minimum overall grade average of 60% (or equivalent) in the final year of high school.
Students acquire a minimum final grade of “C” or 60% (or equivalent) in Grade 11 Mathematics or equivalent for most programs.
Students have to complete a foundation of Math 11 or Pre-calculus 11 or equivalent or Business Readiness Assessment.

Language Requirements:

The students must be able to understand and fluently speak the language of instruction (English) in the program. Proof of linguistic proficiency may be required.
The students whose official language is not English must submit the English Language Proficiency scores like IELTS or TOEFL.
If the student does not meet the language requirements they can take English Language Learning and Acquisition (ELLA) program and complete it and pursue this program.
