The Doctor of Philosophy allows pursuing a detailed research investigation in an area of interest and present students' findings in a thesis. The Doctor of Philosophy in Veterinary Science (Ph.D.Veterinary Science) is a three years Doctorate in Animal Science academic Degree course Abroad. Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility: 

  • Students have qualified for the award of a Master by Research at an acceptable level.
  • Students must appropriate Bachelor's degree with class 1 or class 2(i) honors from an Australian university or an equivalent overseas tertiary institution, taken over a minimum of four years (full-time equivalent).
  • Students need to have qualified for the award of a coursework Master’s degree with a research project and thesis/dissertation component. It is normally expected that a grade equivalent to the appropriate class of Honours will have been obtained.
  • Some other appropriate combinations of undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications (such as relevant graduate diplomas) and research experience demonstrate the capacity to undertake research at a Doctoral level.

Indian Eligibility:

  • Students need to have a minimum of a first-class or upper second with a minimum of 60-80% on an institutional basis in a graduate degree.
  • Or, students completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
