- If students are passionate about a profession that focuses on keeping people moving and helping to improve quality of life, this postgraduate course will give the qualification students need to register as an accredited Exercise Physiologist. Develop, implement and manage physical activity and behavioral programs for healthy clients and clients living with a range of chronic conditions, as students explore how exercise can improve health and wellbeing.
- Learn about the delivery of exercise, lifestyle and behavioural modification programs to help prevent and manage chronic diseases and injury, and have a unique opportunity to fill the void between acute care and long-term management of people living with health conditions. This course will extend students knowledge of the structure and function of the human body, following on from completion of a relevant Bachelor’s degree. Students will be able to apply this knowledge to a range of clinical populations.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
- Entry into this course is restricted to those completing the requirements of an accredited (through ESSA: Exercise and Sports Science Australia) Exercise Science degree with a minimum GPA of 2.0 (or institution equivalent).
- Specific to Murdoch University (internal) students: Entry into this course is restricted to those maintaining a minimum GPA of 2.0 (or equivalent course weighted average mark) and completing all units within the BSc (Movement Science) and BSc (Sport and Health Science).
- This course does have a quota. Therefore the minimum GPA may not guarantee entry into the course, and the indicative GPA may vary from year to year.
