JIS University Scholarship
JIS University, under its JISUMS scheme, offers scholarships to meritorious and financially weak students of society. The scholarship amount, extending up to 100% on tuition fees of the total course fees, is awarded on the basis of the assessment of prospective candidates by the JISUMS Committee. You should have science in your 10+2 for the application of B.Tech. On our college website, you can find the application form, fee structure and application date(gnit.ac.in). I think, in this current situation GNIT is the best college for B.Tech students in Kolkata.

I got 87% on the class 12 board. and then I applied for this college from WBJEE. this is a nice college with a nice campus. I applied for this course from the wbjee website. 5000 was the application fee for this college which was refundable. The admission cell of this college was too communicative.

Eligibility is that students must have a science background with a minimum score of 60 per cent in both 10th and 12th. The application form is to be filled out in the admission cell present inside the college premises. You have to appear in an examination which is taken online by the college administration. A person with a 90 percent or above score in his 10th and 12th can get offers on the semester fees and you can also give your caste certificate (if possible) then you can also get some discount on the fees. The average fee for b tech is approx 4.5 lacs and it may vary depending on your qualifications.
