Doctor of Science [D.Sc] From University of Kalyani, Kalyani

A candidate who has distinguished himself/ herself in the relevant area and has proved her/his ability for conducting research/ academic work independently with at least eight years of academic experience after Master’s degree (Minimum 55% marks) and has published work of high quality comparable to Ph.D. work;

 OR
Has obtained a Ph.D degree of this or any other recognised University followed by three years’ post doctoral research/teaching experience.

Selection of the candidate to the above mentioned courses is done on the basis of Kalyani University Research Eligibility Test (KURET) and interview by the Departmental Research Committee.

The entrance test for M.Phil. programs is held separately for each discipline. Although the pattern of the test also varies according to the specialization, it does test a candidate’s knowledge of research methodologies and the subject of specialization.
