What students say about Jain University - [JU]

Likes

  • It was perfectly planned and dealt with by all the highly experienced faculty. It was thought through in a planned and perfect manner.
  • Landmine detection and drone agriculture are the projects, and we have achieved very good outcomes.
  • One of the best things about this University, which drives students to take admission here, is its placement opportunities.
  • College also gives campus interviews and internships, which help students secure placements in very good companies.
  • Activities are the best way to help us understand studying and writing for exams. Through activities, we gain knowledge. Sports are extraordinary, and labs help us relax and stay focused on the topic.
  • Food is provided three times a day, and the quality of the food is also very good.
  • Being a CA student, this is the best college with the best timings, and I chose B.Com, which is also helpful for your CA course.

Dislike

  • The faculty-student ratio is normal, like any other college, but the worst part of my course was that we had the same teachers every semester.
  • Internship opportunities are quite limited, and only local companies come to campus that offer unpaid positions.
  • Not much for this branch. There was one company that came, which is Bombardier, but that too was just for training. Other than that, no other companies came in.
  • The loan facilities are provided to students who face difficulties paying the college fee, subject to verification by college authorities.
  • As I mentioned, there were no extracurricular activities conducted in the college, and it was a boring college.
  • Students are genuinely unhappy with the environment, and girls are afraid to come out at night.
  • The management is the worst thing about college. They charge extra fees from students, saying that they havent met the criteria.

Placement Experience:

At the earlier stage of my placements, I am totally worried about my skills and communication because I was totally afraid of that and by attending so many interviews I got placed at the last of the semester. On this campus the placement percentage is 100% with the CSE branch

Remarks:

When I decided to join Jain, I enquired about the college and there is an entrance exam for this college where you can get some scholorships with high marks in that exam. After completion of my entrance exam directly I got an seat in the campus but I didn't get the hostel facility in the campus as they provided in the city hostels which is the best in BTECH life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always interested in space aircrafts and always was into flying that's something which fascinated me and hence I selected this course.the teachers'are very friendly and faculty is of great help and we have mentors for every 10 students which is a plus point.exams were kinda hard but if you go by depth these are quiet easy to crack up.

Remarks:

The admission process was through the college entrance exam which is a JET(JAIN ENTRANCE TEST) that covered the 12th syllabus also cet and jee scores was taken into consideration. Regarding the application form, you can find it online and once you fill it any faculty will get in touch and brief out more.

Placement Experience:

From the 4th semester onwards you will be getting internships and placements. There are so many companies coming for placement and one of the top companies is Mercedes benz, phone, TCS, and many more. The highest package is 51 lacks and the average package is about 4 lacks per year. Considering that you are a regular student then you will be getting placement very easily and everyone will get placement according to their scores. My plans after getting my degree, I will do 2 years job and then I will apply for masters.

Remarks:

The admission process was very easy, I opted jain entrance exam I got selected but I didn't get a scholarship because my rank was not high enough. Then they conducted a meeting about what course I want to select and then, they sent me an admission laterr by E-mail.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my university, especially for IT field is good. Every year lots of students get placements. But for placements in non-IT field is not good. Rarely they got any placements. But yes for IT courses, it's good. The highest package had gone around 50 lpa but he didn't took because he wants to continue his higher level study and average is around 6-7 lpa.

Remarks:

For national students, you need to give the JET(Jain Entrance Test) and then if you get selected then you will be called for an interview and can get admission. Even you can have admission through the Management quota without giving any entrance exam.

Remarks:

I got into the college through the JET exam, ie, the Jain Entrance Exam. The application process was online and easy. The exam conducted was not easy and the cutoff was 70%. for reservation, you need to give the Caste certificate and related certificate. Actually, no improvement is needed.
