Christ University B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants interested in pursuing B.Tech from Christ University must satisfy the below mentioned eligibility criteria:

  • The minimum eligibility criteria for admission is the candidate should have completed 10+2 from Karnataka PUC/ ISC/ CBSE/ NIOS/ State Boards examination from any state/ central recognized board.
  • Candidates should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at 10+2 level and obtained a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and minimum of 50% in Mathematics.
  • Current year students can apply for the application with their class 10th & 11th marks.
  • Foreign citizens/ PIO cardholders/ OCI (Dual citizens) are eligible to apply under the International student category.
  • NRI students who have pursued and completed their last qualifying exam from outside India are also eligible to apply.
  • International students coming from Non-English speaking countries should produce English qualifying exams or have IELTS 6.0 with sub-score below 5.5 or TOEFL (paper) 550 and TOEFL (computer) 0f 213 or TOEFL (IBT) of 79 scores.
  • For international students, the application process and eligibility will be maintained as per AIU.
  • Students who are pursuing the IB curriculum should have 3 HL and 3 SL with 24 credits.
  • Students who are pursuing GCE / Edexcel should have a minimum of 3 A levels with a grade not less than C.

Christ University B.Tech Admission Guidelines

B.Tech students of Christ University are selected on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying exam and merit list published by the university. Candidates who meet the above mentioned eligibility criteria will only be called for Group Discussions and Personal Interview Rounds.

  • The university may also conduct its own entrance test for admissions under certain circumstances.
  • The entrance test will consist of 7 sections, namely, Mathematics, English, Reasoning, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General Knowledge, Physics and Chemistry.
  • The university will then release the merit list of selected candidates and such candidates will be provided admissions on the basis of their test results.

Ans. If the important date section for the programme does not state when the results will be declared, then the same will be declared within 48 hours of completion of the process and the offer of admission will be valid for 3-5 working days.
