How are NIT Raipur and IIIT Naya Raipur?

IIIT Naya Raipur is better than NIT Raipur, in terms of infrastructure, curriculum, and facilities. The institute follows a more subject-oriented curriculum in which unnecessary subjects aren’t included. You will study the core subjects from the first year itself. IIIT Naya Raipur has an active coding culture as well.

The institute has had an impressive placement record over the last few years. According to IIIT Naya Raipur placements of 2021, the average and highest CTC offered were INR 20 LPA and INR 43 LPA, respectively.

One of my closest friends is from NIT Raipur, so I have a little bit of information about the institute.

Some of the most prominent features and facts about NIT Raipur are as follows.

Hostel: They have gota hostel with dual mess (well furnished and spacious rooms), table tennis and badminton court and a huge canteen.
Placements: The placement rate has been drastically improved for CSE/IT students. Placements of core branches like Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics are very good.
Infrastructure: There are Virtual Classrooms available for video conferencing sessions.
Extra-curricular: There are several activity clubs like Cultural, Technical, Literature, Robotics, IEEE SB, SAE, Green Committee, Mentorship Club, etc

Students Crowd:

Coming to the quality of students, well students are at the core of the development process of this institute.

They are involved in internships at a foreign institute like one of his batch-mate Sneha Gupta (Bio-medical) did her internship at the University of Nebraska, USA, and many students from electrical, mechanical, chemical, and other branches are involved in projects with IITs. So the quality of students at NIT Raipur is tremendous,
Students are actively involved in many national-level competitions both technical and non-technical.
