Allahabad University, also known as "Oxford of the East”, has consistently held a good place among the colleges of India. It is the 4th most established college of India after Calcutta, Bombay, and Madras University.
Allahabad University (AU) alumni include a number of government officials, researchers, artists, journalists. You can discover an eminent graduated class of UoA everywhere in many fields. Numerous artists (Firaaq Gorakhpuri, Harivansh Rai Bachchan, and so forth), journalists, educationists, researchers have been a part of UoA.
