Key Highlights:

  • The first task is to build a stronghold on all basic concepts. The syllabus of PG entrance is based entirely on topics from MBBS. So, the first year is a vital part of the syllabus which needs to be covered well.
  • Reading the standard syllabus books is actually enough during the initial years. Books like Guyton, Grays, and Harper are good for both the MBBS course and PG entrance. Moreover, covering the syllabus from point to point is the overall necessity.
  • Only after clearing the theoretical concepts through standard syllabus books, it is advised to practice MCQs for entrance like AIIMS PG.
  • If you are done with the syllabus and have practiced enough, you can opt for a standard crash course for AIIMS PG.

Having a consistent pace helps to extract the best out of college life, and achieve the ultimate goal at the same time. Studying every day to some extent and covering topics consistently decreases the one-time workload.
