What is the average and highest salary for NIT Trichy CSE graduates ?
During the 2021 placement drive of NIT Trichy, the average CTC received by CSE graduates was around INR 17 -24 LPA. While the highest salary package offered was INR 1 Cr PA. Around 80% of the students from the CSE branch got placements in major recruiting companies like Infosys, Google, Microsoft, etc.

The overall placement scenario at NIT Trichy is quite impressive. While the average CTC offered to students in NIT Trichy is around 8 to 10 LPA, the highest package offered to B.Tech graduates can go as high as 42 LPA. The campus is visited by many renowned companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Oracle, Samsung, Walmart, Morgan Stanley, and others. According to the 2019 placement statistics, the overall placement rate at NIT Trichy was 96% and the highest recruiting branch was CSE. For the last 3 years, CSE had a 100% placement rate.
Students can go for off-campus placement too as for the CSE branch getting decent job offers does not entirely depend on the institute, it depends mainly on the student’s skill. CGPA is not that important for placement but to be safe you should maintain a CGPA above 7.
